This is in itself a wonder, how so many people find this an 'exceptional' piece of advice on how to deal with depression. Some Bollywood star's sibling comes out and coaches people about depression. This in itself is insulting to the experts and psychiatrists working to solve this problem and also to the majority of people who don't even know what 'depression' is?
And what she writes should also be looked at and we should see for ourselves on what grounds does it stand -
I have days where I feel good and then I have days where I don't. One minute everything's fine and the next it's like someone turned the light off inside my head. I go quiet and it's difficult to get out of bed. Like it always does the world around me loses focus and I struggle to make sense of it. Sometimes these bouts last an hour - sometimes they last days.
This happens with almost every living individual on a daily-hourly basis. Even the animals go through what is described above as coping a huge war.
I hope the storytellers/journalists should be capable of identifying the propaganda behind the story and not let serious issues be used as a tool for propaganda.
